Students admitted into the nursing portion of the program will need to have completed one year of general education before beginning nursing education which will take a two additional two years Raritan Bay Medical Center in collaboration with Middlesex County College offers an associate science degree in nursing program.
In this two-year program students complete 35 credits in general education and science taught by Middlesex County College faculty and 35 credits in nursing education taught by Raritan Bay Medical Center faculty. The program is offered in two educational tracks: the first track is the 80 week generic track or a 50 week advanced LPN to RN track.

My son was 4 months old when I started and I worked full time. It was intense at times but really do-able. There seemed be a lot of financial aid available. There was someone who literally walked you through the process of filling anything and everything you could to get help. There were options for grants if you agreed to work for them.
There was also an anonymous scholarship fund. The amount I received increased every semester. They also let you know of local scholarships such as the Newport News Medical Society.
